The main purpose of the warehouse trainee is to undertake all warehouse duties assigned by the supervisor and take on any additional training needed to complete his/her role efficiently. To be part of an ever-growing team of enthusiastic people dedicated to giving excellent customer service.
Daily Duties
• Despatching of products either by courier or pallets distributed in the UK & Abroad
• Picking & packing goods from despatch notes
• Weigh out products using weighing/counting scales to ensure accurate quantities are despatched
• Locating of products that cannot be located on a despatch note
• Working in a safe & responsible manner when handling weights of boxes
• Undertake Fork Lift courses
• Advising Warehouse Manager of any shortages concerning consumable products
• Arranging recycling and general waste disposal as and when required
• Ensuring timescales are reached with priority despatches
• Print of despatch notes and ensure orders are dispatched in the correct order
• Stock cleansing of products that haven’t moved for periods of time
• Bringing delivered goods into the warehouse safely and efficiently
• Ensure warehouse is kept clean and tidy at all times
• Any ad-hoc duties given by the Warehouse Manager
