The Bosch sensor contact 2.8 (BSK 2.8) is a flat contact for 2.8 x 0.8 mm blade contacts. A special spring mechanism protects the contact point against fretting. The BSK 2.8 was developed for plug-in connections subjected to high levels of vibration (direct engine attachment). The tinned version of the contact is suitable for temperatures up to max. 130°C or up to 150°C if gold-plated. The primary-locking function is provided by the locking-spring arrangement. Secondary locking is possible from four sides between the contact element and the crimping area and from two sides in the area in front of the locking springs.
