The Bosch micro-contact 1.5-D (BMK 1.5-D) is a box-type contact used for 1.5 x 0.63 mm blade contacts. It is designed for use in heavy-duty plug-in connections, particularly for diesel engines and diesel assemblies. The contact features a load-reducing decoupling mechanism and a steel overspring. The tinned version of the BMK 1.5-D contact is suitable for temperatures up to max. 130°C or up to 150°C if gold-plated.The primary-locking function is provided by two locking springs at the steel overspring. A 180° change in contact fitting position is possible, and also secondary locking.
