The compact connector Compact 3 is used for the connection of such automotive electronic assemblies as sensors and actuators. The plug-in connection has a radial seal and has individual wire seals for the wiring. The plug-in connection is suitable for engine-compartment installation and for engine-mounted components. For greater contact reliability, the connector features a secondary lock. The compact connector is connected (disconnected) directly. Proper connection of the plug to the interface can be checked using the slide (CPA). The slide can only be locked if the connector has been fitted correctly.
