The 56-way wiring-harness connector is a compact high-way plug-in connection for hybrid control units with 0.6mm signal contacts and 1.5mm power contacts. The plug-in system is suitable for direct diesel-engine/diesel-pump attachment. A silicone gel seal is used for the cable. This means there is no need for additional sealing (e.g. dummy plugs) if not all contacts are used. A slide operated by a lever attached to the cover is used for pull-in and locking.
