The 2015 third Professional Darts Competition (PDC) Invitational Fishing Championship was a massive success. We are proud to have been Official sponsors for this event, with all proceeds going to a great cause; Haven House Children’s Hospice. The spectacular 24 man tournament, featured famous sportsman, celebrities and company guests.
The Exciting tournament saw Doug Banks, Dalroad Area Sales Representative hook into 5lb carps. As he landed another whopper it flipped out of his grasp before he could get it into the keep net. Taking Doug out of the running for the title of the PDC individual Fishing Champion.
As the competition was nearing the end, the quietly efficacious Professional Angler Steve Collet from Anglers Mail was catching a keep net full of thriving Carp and Silver Fish. Professional Angler Steve Collet became the 3rd individual PDC Invitational Fishing Champion.
The PDC team Fishing Championship prize went to the PDC Players 1 Team. The PDC Players 1 team, consisted of our very own Doug Banks, 7 times PDC Major Champion James Wade, PDC Darts Professionals Jason Lovett and Richie Howson.
The championship received a lot of press interest. Readers of OK! magazine will be sure to see photography of the Championship. The event will be featured in new issues of Anglers Mail, Anglers Times and West Essex Life. For those of you who want to watch the competition. The tournament will air as a 1 hour special programme on Sky Sports 3. Watch the grasping action of the tournament on Virgin Media channel 515 and Sky Channel 404 Wednesday 14th October at 7PM.
